Centos7/RHEL7 - disable suspend on LID close

Problem:

close lid then laptop goes to suspend state.


I got very cheap used laptop, i3 cpu, some 8gb memory, no disk.

Now with SSD disk it will be used as a system where I can test new stuff.

But ...

Solution:

add line "HandleLidSwitch=ignore" to file: /etc/systemd/logind.conf then reboot


Now laptop is on-line when LID is closed.
